Location, location, location! This famous phrase that describes prime real estate could have been coined for The Rotonda Condominium, located in the heart of Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia. This outstanding community of 1168 condominium homes, the vision of Giuseppe Cecchi, president of IDI Group Companies and designed by nationally acclaimed architect Wayne Williams, was built between 1978 and 1981 and is today considered one of the premier residential communities in the Washington Metropolitan area. Five 10-story buildings are spread throughout 35 acres which also include walking trails, picnic sites, six tennis courts, a putting green, trees, beautiful landscaping and plentiful outdoor parking. In the center of it all, attached to Building one, is a fabulous community center inside which great amenities are available to Rotonda residents and their guests. The first impression is made by the beautiful outdoor pool and deck that wraps around the corner of the building. Once inside the center there are more opportunities for fun and relaxation with a large, gorgeous indoor pool and deck, exercise rooms for both men and women with saunas, four bowling lanes, table tennis, pool tables, an indoor golf driving range, a great lounge for relaxing, reading or playing cards with your neighbors, a restaurant/snack bar, the general convenience store and a hair salon. The center, along with the community, is managed by a professional staff in the management office, also located in the center, which is accessible 24 hours per day. The Rotonda is a completely gated community which is also patrolled on a round-the-clock basis by a security staff. There are two manned security gates for residents and one for visitors.
